Kateryna Bortsova's project will be presented at LA CULTURA ES FEMENINA 20 (Tenerife, Spain)

This Saturday, February 15, starting at 7:00 p.m. in the El Tanque Cultural Space, the expected inauguration will take place LA CULTURA ES FEMENINA 20 (Cabildo de Tenerife, Caja Canarias Foundation and the Ministry of Culture, Spain.), an exhibition that brings chest to the catastrophic data presented by the Spanish exhibition halls where the Women's participation in them are ridiculous. In this new edition there will be a total of 26 women and 6 men, an 81% female participation.

This project, which is part of a larger one called Why culture matters. THE CULTURE IS FEMALE 2020 is an interdisciplinary project that aims to know, order and interpret objective data that influence culture, creatively and disseminate through artistic actions the interpretation of these data that make culture influence society. A project that aims to give objective answers to the question why is culture important in equality? from different points of view and sectors. And that also aims to promote speed when approaching equality.

The # laculturaesfemenina2020 project unites different areas of action, designs positive action measures in cultural matters, intervenes in different spaces and with women artists from different backgrounds, and encourages creativity in equality because in the profession of culture, if we can call it that, the woman is underrepresented, and at the same time sensitizes the general population to equality.
